UPDATE: Suspect Apprehended: Demarrea Chante Barnes was arrested over the weekend and charged with the crime. Demarrea Chante Barnes was charged with one felony count of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, one felony count of elder and dependent adult abuse, with a sentencing enhancement for great bodily injury. He entered a not guilty plea.
He was arrested over the weekend after a caught-on-camera attack on Sept. 25 at a strip mall parking lot at 5015 W. Edinger Ave.

After all if a white cop disciplines a black man suspected to have committed a crime, or God forbid a white police officer shoots a violent criminal who is black, even if he is unarmed, he is still dangerous, but when this happens, all the race-baiters come out of the wood-work and cry racism! Where is Al Sharpton, Barack Obama, Eric Holder and Luis Farakhan to speak out against blacks committing senseless crimes against other races and also their own? Yet they all rush to judgement when a black person is “victimized” before knowing the facts. These race baiters are hanging out in teh same place so-0called moderate Muslims are when they fail to speak out against radical Islam.
Police are working to identify and locate the black violent thug who attacked an innocent elderly 83-year-old man in Santa Ana Friday morning.
The brutal and senseless attack happened at about 6:10 a.m. in the 5000 block of West Edinger Avenue. The violent beating was caught on surveillance video.
Tuyen Nguyen was on his daily walk to get a newspaper and coffee at a nearby restaurant when he was attacked without warning by the black man, a transient, who he says he has seen in the parking lot before.
“He was thinking about my mom, and he was afraid he was going to die,” said Pete Nguyen, the victim’s son.
Married 62 years to his wife, Vy, they fled Vietnam for a better life.
Now, the elderly grandfather is hospitalized in critical condition. He suffered a brain hemorrhage and broken eye socket all because of an angry black man’s merciless, unprovoked beating.
“What the black man’s motive was is uncertain. Maybe he was intoxicated, on drugs, having mental issues, we don’t know because we don’t know who this individual is,” said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department. “But we don’t want it to happen to somebody else.”
Or maybe he was just an ANGRY BLACK MAN who’s anger has been spurred by Obama, Holder, Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton!
Police have stepped up patrols in the area and are asking for the public’s help tracking down the black thug.
The victim’s family says the disturbing video is gut wrenching, but are hoping it will help put his attacker behind bars.
“We hope that the gentleman would be apprehended,” said Pete Nguyen, “We hope it will not be happening to somebody else, another family. We definitely don’t want anybody else to go through what we had to go through.”
