Obama Super Hero Spider Man
“Obama is No Super Hero” ~Michelle Obama … uh, duh?

Michelle Obama blew kisses To the Hollywood crowd explaining that her Husband Is ‘Not Spider-Man and Not Super-Hero’ so dont expect miracles in the next four years if you help us re-elect him. Michelle went on to say, “by the time my husband Barack in through with America in the next four years, every city will be reduced to a pile of rubble like the cities in “Independence Day” or “The Avengers” except there will be no Super Heroes to save America.

4TH UPDATE, 7:20 PM: Michelle Obama is guest of honor at a fundraiser underway at Warner Bros chief Barry Meyer‘s home. (Frankly, the way he loathes any Hollywood union activism, Meyer seems more of a Republican… But he’s hosted or participated at prior Bambi fundraisers.) Event started at 4 PM and was a sellout even though ticket prices ranged from $2,500 to $25,000, and about 150 people are expected to attend. Sources tell Deadline that among the guests spotted are Warner Bros Pictures Group president and Office Of The President Jeff Robinov, Warner Bros Home Entertainment Group president and Office of the President Kevin Tsujihara, Warner Bros Television president Peter Roth, Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution president Ken Werner. Also Warner Bros TV’s most valuable sitcom executive producer and creator Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Two And A Half Men, Mike & Molly), CAA co-owner Kevin Huvane, New Line Cinema president Toby Emmerich, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos, and DreamWorks Animation chief marketing officer Anne Globe. Plus E! talk show host Chelsea Handler, and director Rob Reiner. Here’s an edited-down White House Pool Report:

Barry and Wendy Meyer’s Los Angeles home is in a gated community near the J. Paul Getty Museum. A stone wall leads past the gate and up a slight hill to the Spanish-style residence. A small fountain gurgles at the main entrance to the house; to the right is a veranda that leads to the backyard, where guests will be directed. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.

At 5:30 PM, from the living room, Mr. Meyer can be heard delivering remarks, urging guests to appreciate “a country that doesn’t dictate who you can and can’t marry,” and praising the U.S. for “aiming more carefully now, and firing less.” Mr. Meyer’s remarks are followed by those of his wife, Wendy Meyer. At 5:45 pm, pool is led outside under a large white veranda, facing a swimming pool encircled by beige beach chairs. In front of the pool are two tables covered with beige tablecloths, one set with beverages and another with cheeses, meats and other hors d’oeuvres. There are also trays of chocolate sandwich cookies. To the right of that area, around 100 guests are gathered on the grass underneath a large white tent.

FLOTUS is on a small stage, delivering her remarks in front of a navy curtain hanging from one edge of the tent. She has changed clothing from this morning’s event, and is now wearing a brown-and-white graphic print halter dress, with a narrow row of subtle beading down the front. She is also wearing black patent-leather pumps and turquoise drop earrings. “I am deeply honored and moved to be here. I always am. Coming to Los Angeles is always a refreshing experience because the love and support and the sophistication around the issues and the passion always gives both me and Barack an important boost. I want to start by thanking Barry and Wendy not just for their very smart and in-depth and gracious introductions, but for the role that they play not just in politics but in the world, in life…”

The mood is casual, with at least one guest sitting in the grass while listening to FLOTUS, and others, including some elderly guests, perched on chairs. The sun begins to set as FLOTUS nears the end of her remarks. At the end of her remarks, FLOTUS blows kisses to the crowd, then exits out the side of the house, past a row of rose bushes bearing yellow and peach blossoms. On their way out, guests are handed clear cellophane bags containing large white meringue cookies.
