Public Policy Polling released the results of their latest survey showing Newt Gingrich in sole possession of first place in the race to become the Republican nominee for President.

This poll is the fourth consecutive poll that shows Speaker Gingrich at the very least tied for first place statistically.

The Gingrich campaign has said from the beginning that as long as voters begin to pay more attention to the race, that support would begin building for Gingrich. The former Speaker of the House has shown he is the candidate with the most experience, most knowledge, and clear skills for strong leadership to get this country working again.

Campaign Manager Michael Krull said today, “It’s very exciting to see voters stand up with Newt as he lays out his plan to address the very real problems facing this country. Together, we have reshaped this campaign and put Newt on track to win the nomination.”

The the debate process professes, Speaker Gingrich has steadily shown he has the intellect and the experience to win the presidential nomination and is not afraid to take on the media or Obama and the Democrats. Gingrich has shown a lot of class by not attacking his Republican opponents instead staying focused on clearly pointing out and detaining the failed policies of the Obama Administration.

Gingrich is also doing well raising more campaign funds and is exceeding expectations. Not only did his campaign hit their last week’s ambitious fundraising goal of one million dollars, but they blew it out of the water and raised over $1.4 million in just one week!

Krull goes on to say in an email out to supporters, “And I know that the two are related. We wouldn’t have been able to accomplish either of these without you.”

In the email Krull also went on to reiterate that they will continue to focus on the failed policies of Barack Obama and have an adult discussion on the complex problems America faces here and abroad.”

The Gingrich campaign has set a goal this week to have 15,000 individual contributors of any amount.
