It seems that President Obama has a mission. That mission doesn’t seem to be one that is growing the United States nor does it seem to be a plan that can work to decrease foreign dependence on oil. Many have said that Obama’s real plan is to bury the United States in failed energy initiatives that are light years away from being fully developed.
Now is not the time to put America’s future in the hands of expensive, unproven technologies that in reality, are just pipe dreams. The most advanced technology available ANYWHERE can not move cargo ships across oceans and jumbo jets through the skies. Obama stops current drilling and prohibits further drilling for oil in the United States then makes fun of “drill here and drill now” while America sinks deeper into economic collapse.
It is widely understood that oil and gas are the least expensive and most abundantly available resources on the planet. At a time when 3 million Americans remain jobless since Obama took office and an out of control National debt and spending by the Obama regime along with ever increasing global tensions, the last thing the United States needs to do is dump more billions into unproven technologies or green energy initiatives that are 20-30 years from becoming practical.
On March 22 Obama announced an offer of up to $35 million over three years to support research and development in advanced biofuels, bioenergy, and high-value biobased products. These types of fuels are 20 plus years away from practical use. On that same day the White House announced a $14.2 million DOE effort to accelerate the development and deployment of stronger and lighter materials for advanced vehicles which will not be available for 20+ years.
The initiatives, which are doomed to failure, are aimed at reducing U.S. dependence on foreign oil and limit carbon pollution. But carbon pollution data is based on false data and the United States has more oil than Saudi Arabia and would make America energy independent for 200 years. But Democrats and Obama could care less about these facts.
March 19 Obama enacted a plan to have the US Army partner with failed renewable industry organizations to invest up to $7 billion over the next 10 years in unproven, failed renewable energy sources, including wind, solar, biomass, and geothermal energy. So far every solar company Obama has funded has gone belly up. They are OUT OF BUSINESS! Billions of tax payers dollars down the drain. This doesn’t seem to concern the inexperienced Ideologue. Obama continues his failed policies despite his losing streak.
While President Obama talks about how forward-looking he is when it comes to the nation’s energy, almost everything he’s proposing is just a retread of Jimmy Carter’s failed policies from the 1970s.
In the wake of historic high gasoline prices and an increasingly agitated public, Obama has taken to lambasting Republicans. They’re members of the Flat Earth Society, he says, and display “a lack of imagination, a belief that you can’t do something in a new way.”
But the only thing imaginative about Obama’s energy plans is how he’s managed to recycle most of them from Jimmy Carter’s playbook without anyone noticing. And we all know how well Carter’s plan worked out. Obama fails over, and over and over again, and CBS, ABC, NBC and CNN simply refuse to report on it. It;s getting more scary every day folks!
