Obama recently ordered a temporary halt of deportations to Haiti enabling burglar Kesler Dufrene, a convicted felon and illegal immigrant, to rob and kill again. Due to Defrene’s felony convictions, an immigration judge ordered him deported back to his native Haiti. But Obama stopped the process in an attempt to curry favor and votes with illegal immigrants, a group desperately needed by Obama to get re-elected.
Dufrene’s prison term was up and due to Obama’s recent new Immigration law Miami authorities had to release him from custody. Two months later Dufrene slaughtered three people, including a 15-year-old girl.
Unfortunately the cowardly illegal immigrant shot and killed himself 18 days after he committed the murders and before Miami detectives could interrogate him. Dufrene was cornered by Manatee County sheriff’s deputies in Bradenton after an unrelated break-in and shooting there. Thank the Obama administration for this debacle.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman said, “Because of the [Obama] moratorium on removals of [criminals] to Haiti in effect when Dufrene came into ICE custody, his [deportation] to Haiti was not likely in the reasonably foreseeable future,” in a statement Friday.
Obama’s failure to deport Dufrene has left the victims’ family members extremely angry and distraught. “This guy shouldn’t have been in America,” said Audrey Hansack, 37, who moved back to her native Nicaragua after the murder of her daughter Ashley Chow. “I’m so upset with the whole situation. Because of the Obama immigration law, my daughter is not alive.”
Ashley was a North Miami High School student who had aspirations of becoming a lawyer. She lived in the house in the 400 block of Northwest 134th Street. Her mother owned the house, and rented an attached efficiency to a family friend, Harlen Peralta, 25, and her boyfriend, Israel Rincon, 35, the other two victims in the multiple murder.
