George Zimmerman would like to also address the Martin family and tell them,

“I’m sorry I dont have children, but I have family… I love my children, the ones I haven’t had yet, they are my world… I am sorry they buried their child, and I pray for them daily. I cant imagine having to go through the same thing”

“I knew I discharged my firearm but I was scared and nervous and thought the police would come and shoot me when they saw me with a firearm.”  Zimmerman said it felt like forever between the time he shot Martin and when the police arrived.

When asked what he thought about the nation’s attacks on him and rush to judgement.  ” I dont like that [the public] rushed to judgement like they have. Any time they have a story that is remotely positive they interpret it negatively.

Zimmerman also denied reports that Hannity offered to pay his legal bills or offered him any money at any time. He confirmed that he was receiving no compensation for the interview that aired with Hannity Wednesday evening.

Zimmerman also said one state police officer was very concerned for his safety and he kept in touch with him daily.

In response to Hannity’s saying to Zimmerman that no one has been held responsible or jailed for the bounty put on his head by Black Panthers Zimmerman has said he is still in fear of his life and has had many death threats, almost daily.

Zimmerman would like to say this to Spike Lee and the Black Panthers:, “I cant guess what your motives were but I would like to ask for an apology… what you did was wrong”

Zimmerman also denied the accusations that he sexually molested a family relative, “witness number 9” when he was young.

When asked about hiding money from donations that were given to him, Zimmerman attorney had to interrupt the interview and declined to speak about it due to fact that a charge was filed against Zimmerman’s wife.

Inmates actually supported Zimmerman while he was incarcerated.

“Media doesn’t always portray things accurately and that is wrong,
Some inmates were aware of that fact and they had sent a sign of strength to me in their support when I was readying for my hearing.

When asked about the mention of “black male suspects” They also stated that I never volunteered that information, it was always at their request. Even when I described I never volunteered the race until they asked.

Hannity asked about Zimmerman taking on n local police dept regarding a homeless black man that was beaten up that Zimmerman wanted to support as he didn’t feel the case was getting enough attention. “My wife and I saw the story wasn’t getting coverage, so we decided that we had to try and do something. We drove around to churches on Sunday put fliers on cars and handed out to people.” explained Zimmerman.

After two or three lie detector tests taken by voluntarily by Zimmerman showed “no deception indicated”

Zimmerman confirmed his belief that the overwhelming media definitely rushed to judgement.
