Update: Michael Clarke Duncan remains in a Los Angeles hospital following his cardiac arrest on Friday, but sources say the actor is progressing well and doctors are hopeful for a full recovery.
The actor collapsed at home and was given CPR by girlfriend Omarosa, and insiders now tell DividedStates the former Oscar nominee Michael Clarke Duncan “is fighting like a mutha” for his life.

Michael Clarke Duncan, the actor with the booming voice from “The Green Mile,” was rushed to the hospital Friday after suffering a heart attack.
After undergoing CPR, Duncan was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles and admitted to the ICU.
“According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning,” his publicist told E! News. “He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”
According to TMZ, the 54-year-old star’s girlfriend, “The Apprentice” alum Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, found that he had gone into what the website called “a state of cardiac arrest” about 2 a.m., gave him CPR and resuscitated him. Duncan’s publicist would not confirm that report, according the Associated Press.
Duncan most recently appeared in the short-lived Fox series”The Finder” and the Ryan Reynolds superhero flick “Green Lantern.”
